VCM 7.6 SP1 is a Service Pack for VCM version 7.6, providing essential fixes for defects within the software. It must be installed on top of an existing VCM version 7.6 installation.

About Service Packs

Service Pack releases consist of critical fixes discovered since the last product release. You will be notified each time a new service pack is available. Service Packs are not upgrades, but a series of tested fixes to the release.

• Vignette strongly encourages you to apply the Service Pack to your environment as soon as possible. If you report a problem, Vignette Customer Care may require that you have the latest Service Pack applied to your version of the software.
• Any e-fixes (emergency fixes) will be created based on the latest Service Pack.
• If you have any questions about the Service Pack or applying the Service Pack, please enter a VOLSS ticket.
• Vignette will send an e-mail notification for any new Service Packs to all customers that are current on maintenance.
• The issues fixed in this Service Pack are listed in the Vignette Content Management 7.6 SP1 Release Notes on VOLSS.
